Baltimore, MD. -- Eric Christopher Webb was recently appointed Mid-Atlantic regional director for the Alumni Association of Lincoln University of Pennsylvania and to the advisory board of the Black Girls Dive Foundation, Inc.
Webb, an award-winning author, speaker and entrepreneur, is a licensed Maryland Realtor ® and managing director of Dream Homes By Webb at Keller Williams Flagship of Maryland located in Millersville, Maryland. He is also a managing partner of Best Offer Properties, LLC., a real estate investment and redevelopment firm in which he focuses on acquisitions, marketing and sales.
The 1991 graduate of Lincoln University and former director of communications and public relations for the university, Webb is responsible for the development and continued activity of alumni association chapters in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C.; to work closely with the Director of Alumni Relations; to perform other duties as deemed by the President; and to submit a report to the Executive, Council and Annual meetings of the Association.
With the Black Girls Dive Foundation, Inc., a newly-founded, non-profit organization to expose Baltimore area girls and young women to aquatic-based recreation, research and career opportunities, he was also named co-chairman of its advisory board and chairman of its marketing and communications subcommittee.
For the last 20 years, Webb has served as a communications and marketing expert successfully developing and directing branding, advertising and advocacy campaigns, as well as crisis communications efforts for multi-million-dollar corporations, institutions and non-profits, including Lincoln University, the American Heart Association, the Praxis Project, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Black Girls Dive Foundation, and others.
A former Washington News Correspondent for Thomson Newspapers, he is also a National Black Authors Tour bestselling author of five books, a frequent national keynote speaker and the recipient of numerous awards and honors.
Webb received his bachelor’s degree in English and Journalism from Lincoln University in PA with graduate study and/or fellowships from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, Howard University, Harvard University, The Freedom Forum, Thomson Newspapers and Investigative Reporters & Editors, Inc.
He serves on numerous other boards and is listed in The Heritage Registry of Who’s Who, Madison’s Who’s Who Among Executives, Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, Outstanding Young Men of America, International Who’s Who Among Poets’ and Poetry Encyclopedia, Who’s Who Among Writers, Editors & Poets (United States & Canada) and the International Directory of Distinguished Leadership. He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Prince Hall Masons & Shriners.
